Our Catholic school community is seeking a dynamic, joyful, and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher who is passionate about forming students academically, spiritually, and personally. We are looking for an educator who desires to share a love for the Catholic faith through both instruction and daily witness, while contributing positively to a collaborative and mission-driven faculty.
Mission of the Role:The 5th Grade Teacher fosters a classroom environment rooted in faith, excellence, and virtue. This educator supports students in their intellectual growth while guiding them to develop strong character, responsibility, and a deep relationship with Christ.
Primary Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and creative lessons aligned with curriculum standards and Catholic educational philosophy.
- Integrate Catholic teachings and values naturally across subject areas and classroom culture.
- Create a joyful, structured classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and accountability.
- Establish strong rapport with students, parents, and colleagues through clear, professional communication.
- Maintain consistent and fair classroom management grounded in dignity and compassion.
- Address academic, behavioral, or relational challenges with confidence, professionalism, and collaboration.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Collaborate actively with faculty, administration, and parents to support student success.
- Participate fully in the spiritual life of the school, including prayer, liturgies, and community events.
- Reflect on teaching practices and remain open to feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.
- Joyful witness to the Catholic faith and commitment to Catholic education.
- Dynamic and energetic teaching style.
- Strong organizational and classroom leadership skills.
- Quick thinker who can adapt instruction and respond effectively in the moment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification (preferred).
- Practicing Catholic preferred, or strong willingness to support the mission of Catholic education.
- Supportive and joyful faculty community.
- Strong Catholic identity and mission-centered environment.
- Small class sizes allowing meaningful relationships with students.
- Collaborative leadership that values teacher growth and innovation.
