Job Overview
Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSAI) is a role that supports Bank of America's mission to help make financial lives better. The position starts with acquiring industry licenses and training, and then moving into client‑facing activities within a financial center.
Responsibilities- Obtain and maintain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series7 and Series
66 licenses within the required timelines. - Acquire, build and manage client relationships across retail, small‑business and high‑net‑worth segments.
- Assess clients’ complex financial picture and provide comprehensive advice, including guidance on banking, investment and financial planning solutions.
- Deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence and recommended strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill products.
- Register for the SAFE Act and complete any required background checks; maintain safe‑act registration status.
- Work a 40‑hour week, 5 days a week, with occasional Saturdays; single‑shift (1st shift) schedule.
- Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses.
- Self‑disciplined time and capacity management.
- Experience cultivating client relationships, identifying needs and recommending solutions.
- Results‑driven mindset with a client‑centric approach in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration and active listening skills.
- Proficient with technology applications and learning new systems.
- Current holder of FINRA SIE.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services or sales experience.
- Skills in advisory, account management, client focus, oral/written communication, risk management and pipeline management.
Base hourly pay range: $28.85–$33.65 per hour, depending on experience, education and skill set. The role is not incentive eligible but is benefits eligible. Pay transparency information is available on the company website.
