Manager, Institutional Provider Rebates

Role Responsibilities

• Administer rebate/fee payments for contracted customers (GPOs, IDNs, Wholesalers): review contract language, set up rebates in Flex, process payments on time with validations, ensure compliance with contract terms, and maintain SOX controls/internal SOP documentation for payments, reconciliations, and quarterly accrual reserves.
• Conduct payment analysis: analyze account performance for Management/Account Teams and provide quarterly rebate info/analysis to Managed Market Finance for accruals.
• Support strategic/operational work: input into contract negotiation (rebate/fee strategies, payment terms, system capabilities, customer data management), collaborate with contracting teams as SME for contract setup, ensure accurate rebate-eligible member setup with GBS, manage key customer relationships, fulfill ad-hoc data requests, identify issues impacting contracting/rebate strategy.
• Technology/UAT: use rebate systems (FLEX, Business Objects, Cognos), troubleshoot calculation issues with Pfizer Digital, lead UAT for enhancements, and recommend optimal implementation of evolving contract strategies.
• Continuous improvement: develop training materials; lead ad hoc medium/high-risk cross-functional projects.

• Bachelor’s (4+ yrs) or Master’s (2+ yrs) OR PhD OR Associate (8+ yrs) OR High School (10+ yrs).
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; institutional contracting/rebating a plus.

• Strong Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups, charts/formulas), analytics/problem-solving, organization/communications, stakeholder management, and project skills.
• Experience with rebate payment systems (Model N FLEX preferred) and reporting tools (Business Objects/Cognos).

• Base salary range $99, (Tampa, FL: $89,); bonus target 12.5%; 401(k) with matching; additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; medical/dental/vision; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
