Catering Events Manager
We are in search of a Catering Events Manager for an industry-leading best in class catering company located in Northern IL. The position will be responsible for the execution of all off-site banquets, catering, and deliveries while working closely with the Event Operations Manager and ownership.
Responsibilities:- Manage and plan and direct event operations
- Oversee all off-site banquet service operations
- Work closely with Event Planner to ensure flawless execution of the event
- Overseeing the event staff. Providing strong leadership skills for the event team
- Maintaining all equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, and safe environment
- Assist with warehouse duties, delivering catering orders as needed
- 2 years experience in Banquets, Food & Beverage
- Energetic, fast-paced, and assertive
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Ability to think critically to develop strategies for success
- Thrive in ever-changing & fast-paced environments
- Total Comp Range- $60k-$65k w/ tips and gratuity
