The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $87,200.00 to $.

Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.

You Will- Develop models and supporting tools that help weigh decisions, recommendations, and actions against their material impact on profitability leveraging AI/ML capabilities
- Collaborate and work with team members across the entire organization to improve cost management, ensure reliable supply, and ignite profitable growth
- Help with strategic planning, review, and implementation to ensure portfolio recommendation is deployed across the business
- Use data and market insights to meet end-to-end needs across the business to improve customer and team member experience
- Ensure new tool development enables standard work and is additive to the productivity and effectiveness of stakeholders
- BS/BA degree in data analytics/science, engineering, technology, marketing, or business preferred
- 5+ years business experience with a working knowledge of Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Cost Accounting, Finance and Economics
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing advanced analytical tools and methodologies to construct compelling narratives
- Proficient in usage of databases (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks) and querying languages (e.g. SQL)
- Proficient in one or both of the following programming languages:
Python, R - Comfortable building and delivering presentations to management, staff and field audiences
- Must understand Our business direction, customer requirements, supply management-marketing strategy, and demand generation fulfillment process
- Experience driving and demonstrating results financially, strategically and managerially
- Clear understanding of suppliers, customers, Grainger s strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Can apply thought process to construct executable plans
- Change Management skills- inspiring teams to welcome change, embrace new directions, and future opportunities. Anticipate change and prepare for it by defining goals, responsibilities and time frames
