SCCM Architect

We are currently partnered with the world's largest provider of IT infrastructure services as they are looking to bring on a SCCM Architect to their team, hybrid near Lake Forest, IL.

This is an initial 6-month contract on W2, potential for extension and eligible for full benefits.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional work experience in a SCCM environment
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale SCCM/MEM environments and large endpoint deployments.
• In-depth understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows networking concepts.
• Familiarity with integration of SCCM with third-party tools and cloud-based services such as Intune.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to various audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize SCCM infrastructure to meet enterprise standards and requirements.
• Manage patching processes and ensure timely delivery of security and feature updates across endpoints.
• Lead migration efforts for operating system upgrades, including Windows 10/11 deployments.
• Monitor SCCM operations and proactively resolve performance or reliability issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure optimal system integration.
• Establish and maintain SCCM policies, collections, boundaries, and site configurations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive SCCM documentation, including technical manuals and operational procedures.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into the SCCM ecosystem for continuous improvement.
• Provide Tier 3 support and technical guidance to subordinate engineers and IT staff.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures within SCCM solutions.
