Technical Business Systems Manager - Dynamics 365 CRM

Hybrid. 4 days on site to start, then shifting to 3 days on site.

You own our Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, the system that runs our business from origination through booking. This is a hands-on player/coach role: you lead a small team of 1-2 CRM analysts/admins, but you stay in the platform every day doing the administration, configuration, integration, and light development work yourself.

We are an AI-first team. We use tools like Claude to accelerate requirements, documentation, prototyping, and configuration logic. You don't need to be an AI expert, but you do need to be someone who reaches for AI first to build the foundation faster.

• A stakeholder flags friction in our origination or booking workflow
• You assess it: is it a config fix, admin change, integration tweak, or deeper dev work?
• If it's in your wheelhouse, you or your team fix it directly, test it, and close the loop
• If it's bigger, you use AI to draft clear requirements and a prototype, then hand off a clean package to our dev team so they can build, not decipher
• You own it through UAT to make sure it actually solves the business problem
• You own the platform end-to-end: health, roadmap, backlog, and team.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 1-2 CRM admins/analysts — set priorities, review work, and raise the bar
• Establish standards for how we configure, document, test, and release changes in D365
• Balance hands-on delivery with delegation

• tOwn administration and configuration of Dynamics 365 Sales (CE) — entities, fields, views, forms, business rules, business process flows, workflows, security role
• sManage Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Dataverse extension
• sOwn system hygiene, security model, user access, and platform documentatio
• nProvide day-to-day support and triage for CRM user

• ntOwn integrations between D365 and our broader stack, including Business Central, customer portals, and external AP
• IsManage data flows and ETL using Kingsway Soft, Azure APIM / Functions, FetchXML, and SQL Serv
• er Build lightweight customizations where out-of-the-box won't cut
• it Partner with our core development team on complex enhancements — you bring the systems conte
