Senior Manager, Supply Chain Manufacturing Planning
This position will be responsible for the SIOP process for multiple operational units multi-step operations and oversee a team of planners who produce manufacturing plans for multiple manufacturing plants across major product categories. Direct responsibilities of this role include:
- Generate a monthly SIOP and hold monthly meetings for multiple or complex business platforms that drive overall inventory, transportation and warehousing plans, and lead a monthly review of supply plans with Operations, Warehousing, Inventory, Demand Planning and Engineering
- Analyze capacity constraints and make recommendations for capital investment necessary for new business or manufacturing footprint changes and ensure alignment of service, inventory and cost targets
- Meet KPI targets for Delivery, Inventory, Cost and Supply Chain Optimization and develop countermeasures when off target
- Present polished and concise data and recommendations with good decision quality to cross functional teams of peers and Executives
- Drive decision making, including at the Executive level
- Manage and develop direct reports which may includes both production planners and plant schedulers
- May be asked to cover for Director in meetings and/or represent SCP in cross functional projects
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required with emphasis in supply chain, business or operations management preferred
- 5+ years' business or supply chain experience in a multi-facility environment
- Ability to lead direct reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy – Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system required; SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder a plus
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- High analytical ability
- Self-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issues
- Must have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolution
- Demonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals
- Demonstrates an understanding of SIOP processes and master planning
- Willing to travel moderately
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130k-140k + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
