The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Client Ad Agency and internal brand teams, managing day-to-day account relationships and ensuring the successful execution of marketing and promotional initiatives.
Working closely with brand stakeholders, creative teams, and external vendors and suppliers, this individual provides strategic direction, account leadership, and project oversight to support brand objectives and sales goals. The Account Manager will oversee projects from initiation through completion while ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, budgets, agency processes, and pharmaceutical regulatory and promotional requirements.
Key Responsibilities Account & Client Management- Serve as the primary point of contact between the agency and brand teams.
- Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external vendors.
- Provide strategic direction and counsel to support brand objectives, marketing strategies, and business goals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of assigned accounts, including product attributes, marketing objectives, target audiences, competitive landscape, market dynamics, and medical, legal, and regulatory considerations.
- Recommend promotional tactics that align with overall brand strategy and objectives.
- Prepare and distribute client contact reports to ensure timely communication of key decisions, updates, and action items.
- Manage projects throughout the full agency workflow, including project initiation, kickoff, collaboration, approvals, production, and archiving.
- Partner with brand teams to develop clear and comprehensive project briefs.
- Collaborate with creative teams to guide projects from concept through final execution.
- Monitor project scope, specifications, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client expectations are met.
- Facilitate timely and accurate communication among all project stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage multiple high-volume projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with established processes and guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of client and corporate guidelines, including branding standards, promotional material development, and corporate compliance requirements.
- Support and navigate the Promo Mats review process and related approval workflows.
- Ensure tactical execution complies with all applicable agency, client, regulatory, and financial guidelines.
- Develop annual forecasts and monitor account-related budgets.
- Conduct monthly financial reconciliations.
- Track time and project activity on a daily basis.
- Adhere to all company financial policies and procedures.
- Strong understanding of agency workflow processes and creative project lifecycle management.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate productive outcomes.

- Ability to partner effectively with creative teams, brand stakeholders, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree or equivalent related project or functional experience preferred.
- 3–4 years of account management experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical advertising agency or in-house agency experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, including exposure to U.S. and/or global brands.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical promotional materials and approval processes, including Promo Mats, preferred.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume project portfolios in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and client management skills.
- High-energy, positive, and detail-oriented individual comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
