Nurse Clinician-Otolaryngology ENT Full Time Days

This is a full time, salaried position at 40 hours per week which requires travel between both Lake Forest and Grayslake campuses. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.

The Nurse Clinician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, providing pre-attending care for patients, performing routine nursing duties and demonstrating clinical competency, interpreting and defining abnormalities detected in tests and procedures, communicating and collaborating with other departments, triaging and prioritizing incoming telephone calls, managing urgent/emergent medical situations, serving as a resource for staff and physicians, complying with all existing policies and procedures related to patient care, and initiating and coordinating patient education.

Required:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification, current experience within past five years or new nursing graduate within past two years.

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred (may be required for some roles within Oncology), 1-2 years' experience in ambulatory or acute care.
