The salary range for this position is $34.50 - $55.20 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

This is a Full Time, salaried position at 40 hours per week that requires travel between Glenview clinic and Lake Forest Hospital. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with three days at Glenview and two days at Lake Forest. The role assists with heart failure infusions.
The Nurse Clinician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, report deficiencies to supervisor immediately, and assist in rectifying deficiencies as requested.
- Provide pre‑attending care for patients, performing comprehensive assessments of the chief complaint and patient needs using the nursing process. Offer solutions, make recommendations to physicians and other healthcare providers, document all nursing assessments in the patient’s medical record, maintain patient confidentiality, and uphold protocols for the release of patient/medical information.
- Perform routine nursing duties and demonstrate clinical competency. Independently perform phlebotomy, medication administration, measurement of vital signs, preparation of laboratory specimens, and demonstrate clinical competency in complex specialty‑related procedures such as conscious sedation, chemotherapy administration, inseminations, filling and adjustment of implantable pain pumps, and excision and drainage of wounds.
- Interpret and define abnormalities detected in tests and procedures; take appropriate remedial action and document interventions in the patient’s medical record.
- Communicate and collaborate with other clinical and administrative departments to coordinate appropriate patient care, as well as with outside agencies or facilities as appropriate.
- Triage and prioritize incoming telephone calls using clinical assessment skills and service standards, documenting all assessments in the patient’s medical record.
- Manage urgent/emergent medical situations in accordance with the organization’s protocols for medical emergencies and cardiac arrests, and operate emergency equipment according to relevant standards.
- Serve as a resource for staff and physicians for daily problem‑solving and decision‑making, maintain a consistent alertness to patient care needs, take a proactive approach to address or resolve issues, and delegate appropriate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants in accordance with Illinois law and organizational protocols.
