Job Type: Contract (12 months, potential extension)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Lab Technician III to support the Bioanalytical group within Science and Technology. This role will perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing, support analytical studies, and assist with formulation-related activities in a GLP laboratory environment.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, with a background in bioanalytical testing, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related laboratory environments. Strong experience with HPLC instrumentation and Empower software is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine bioanalytical testing and laboratory experiments
- Prepare samples, solutions, and reagents while following established procedures
- Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, spectroscopy, and particle analysis methods
- Troubleshoot experiments and laboratory instrumentation as needed
- Analyze and interpret bioanalytical data and communicate results to project teams
- Maintain accurate documentation through electronic laboratory notebooks (eLN)
- Follow GLP, cGMP, SOPs, and safety guidelines to maintain a compliant laboratory environment
- Support general laboratory maintenance and organization
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field
- 2-5 years of relevant laboratory experience in pharma, biotech, research, QC, or analytical laboratory settings
- Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques including pipetting, weighing, solution preparation, and sample testing
- Experience with bioanalytical testing methods
- Experience with HPLC instrumentation and Empower software
- Ability to work independently in a regulated laboratory environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SEC, CEX, HIC, or RP-HPLC methods
- Familiarity with particle sizing and sub-visible particle testing
- Experience with UV, IR, or fluorescence spectroscopy
- Knowledge of Karl Fischer testing, pH measurements, viscosity, or density testing
- Previous experience working in a GLP/GMP laboratory environment
