Overview
The Corporate Facilities Technician ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operations of corporate facilities by applying advanced technical expertise to resolve complex issues and support business objectives. Working under general guidance, the role exercises discretion in addressing technical challenges, collaborates with others, and mentors less experienced staff to achieve facility goals. The technician proactively maintains building systems, manages vendor performance, and responds to emergencies to safeguard facility integrity and support uninterrupted business operations.
YouWill
- Performs advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Conducts regular inspections to verify safety, compliance with regulations, and adherence to internal standards, preventing costly failures.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots facility-related issues promptly, prioritizing and resolving service requests independently to maintain operational continuity.
- Coordinates and oversees vendor and contractor activities to guarantee quality workmanship, timely delivery, and alignment with project scope.
- Leads or supports office moves, workspace reconfigurations, and furniture installations to enable seamless transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service requests to support accountability and informed decision-making.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and align maintenance strategies with organizational goals.
- Provides guidance and mentorship to junior facilities staff, fostering skill development and promoting best practices for safety and efficiency.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a related role required
- Advanced knowledge of building systems, tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong independent judgment, adaptability, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management systems.
- Certifications such as EPA 608 (HVAC) and OSHA safety training upon hire preferred
- Vocational training or technical coursework in facilities management or related field upon hire preferred
This position is hourly. The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 and $67,800.00.
The pay range provided above is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects the potential base pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual base pay compensation will depend, in part, on factors such as geographic work location and relevant experience and skills.
The anticipated compensation range described above is subject to change and the compensation ultimately paid may be higher or lower than the range described above.
