Senior Salesforce Engineer ​/ Lake Forest

A leading enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer Consultant to join a growing Salesforce technology team. This consulting opportunity is based in the United States with a preference for candidates who can work onsite two days per week in Lake Forest, though remote candidates will be considered. The team leverages Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SalesforceDX, integrations, and AI-driven technologies to build scalable business solutions.

• 4+ years of software development experience across the full SDLC
• Strong Salesforce development experience
• Salesforce Service Cloud experience
• Experience developing with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling and platform architecture
• Experience with Visualforce, SOQL, HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience with source control and CI/CD deployment practices
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
• Experience with Java or C# development
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Design and develop enterprise Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Build scalable applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform technologies
• Lead integration initiatives between Salesforce and external platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver solutions
• Implement development standards and platform best practices
• Develop and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines utilizing SalesforceDX
• Support production issues and participate in critical incident response efforts
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership
• Evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies and recommend improvements
