The City of Lake Forest is looking for staff to work within the sailing program for the Forest Park Beach 2026 season. Summer sailing assistants will work from 8:30am-4:00pm Monday to Friday, June 8th - August 7th.

- Support lead sailing instructors during on-water and shore-based activities
- Assist with rigging, launching, and maintaining boats and equipment
- Supervise campers to ensure safety and positive participation
- Help deliver basic sailing instruction and games
- Enforce camp safety rules and emergency procedures
- Provide encouragement, teamwork, and a fun learning environment
On-Site:
Times and Dates TBD – likely week commencing May 25th or June 1st
* All Training is MANDATORY. CPR Training will be offered.
USA Sailing Level 1 Coaching Certificate
CPR Qualified (CPR Training will be coordinated)
IL state NASBLA boater’s license
