Overview
Lake Geneva Dental is looking for a kind, reliable, and team-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to join our practice. This role is an important part of our patient experience and daily office flow. The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating front desk activities while also supporting other areas of the office as directed. This position plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service, managing patient interactions, and helping the day run smoothly for both patients and team members.

Office Hours- Monday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
- Thursday 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Friday 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- $20-$23 per hour (Based on Experience)

- Full-time role, averaging 32 to 36 hours per week based on practice needs
- Schedule is prepared one month in advance to support consistency and planning

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Appointment Management
- Coordinate and schedule appointments based on dentist availability
- Send appointment reminders to patients and confirm appointments
- Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling
- Ensure re-care is being booked
- Follow up with patients on unscheduled treatment plans
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Handle patient registration and check-in/check-out processes
- Process and verify insurance information
- Collect and record payments for services rendered
- Oversees and participates in collections of aged receivables
- Team Coordination
- Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists and other staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Problem Resolution
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues related to appointments, billing, or service
- Collaborate with dental professionals to handle patient complaints effectively
- Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a dental office
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Proficient in using dental office software and general office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at a time
