As a 3rd Shift Safety Officer at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you play an integral part in ensuring the hotel guests, associates, and hotel property are maintained in a safe and secure environment.

Whatwill you be doing?
- Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property through continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the 1,300‑acre campus including the restaurants, lobby area, associate entrance, banquet areas, guest floors, service and parking areas.
- Respond to emergency incidents and security requests.
- Operate a dispatch centre, handling key control, fire alarm and CCTV monitoring, and dispatching routine and emergency calls.
- Write professional case reports on incidents.
- Collect all package passes and parcels taken from the hotel.
- Perform proactive security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
- Investigate situations and conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred. Knowledge of security and law‑enforcement practices is a plus.
- College education preferred.
- Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
- Exceptional people skills, customer‑service mentality and strong writing & logical thinking abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the public.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overnight, weekends and holidays.
- Must be computer literate.
