Adavanced Maintenance Mechanic

Join a growing manufacturing team in Darien, WI with competitive pay and a primarily straight 1st shift schedule.

Location: Darien, WI (Walworth/Rock County)
Pay: Up to $38/hour (higher pay may be available for candidates with strong PLC, mechanical, and leadership experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-3:30pm but must have flexibility

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment
• Perform gearbox rebuilds and replace bearings, shafts, and gears
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Complete welding and fabrication projects as needed
• Troubleshoot 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLC systems
• Respond to equipment downtime and implement effective solutions to minimize production interruptions
• Support preventative maintenance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in:
  • Gearbox rebuilds
  • Bearing, shaft, and gear replacement
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding and fabrication
• Solid troubleshooting skills with 480V motor controls and Allen-Bradley PLCs
• Ability to stay calm and solution-focused during equipment breakdowns
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

• Experience with extrusion equipment (film, sheet, tube, or plastics converting)
• Leadership, training, or mentoring experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills
