Job Summary:

An Emergency Room Nurse is responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in critical conditions. They work in high-pressure environments to assess, stabilize, and treat patients with various medical emergencies.

• Triaging patients based on the severity of their conditions
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
• Educating patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment plans
• Performing emergency procedures as needed
• Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records
• Adhering to hospital protocols and safety guidelines

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in high-stress situations
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
