OpportunityRN - Med Surg
Job Details- Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend rotation, no on‑call responsibilities, and no holiday expectations
- Support a general surgery clinic setting with up to 30-35 patients per day
- Assist with in-office procedures including cyst removals, wound packing, biopsies, and incision & drainage
- Perform wound packing and wound management for post‑op patients
- Complete suture removal, phone triage for symptoms, and complex pre‑op and post‑op patient education
- Handle rooming patients and order entry duties
- Patients are primarily adults with very few older pediatric patients
- EPIC (Ambulatory) experience required; general EPIC experience is acceptable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or clinic RN experience required;
Rehab/SNF/LTC‑only experience not accepted - Must be able to work independently within 2 weeks
- May float to assist other providers or travel to sister clinic in Burlington (approximately 9 minutes away) if assigned provider is out of office

This outpatient general surgery clinic operates out of a modern facility featuring 4 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms. The clinic is staffed by 1 General Surgeon and 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians, with 2 providers in the office at all times. The clinic sees patients for surgical scheduling, post‑surgical follow‑ups, endoscopy, and a variety of general surgery procedures. Support staff includes a Medical Assistant, Patient Service Representatives, and periodic visits from nursing leadership.
