Position Summary:
The Business Development Managers will drive growth in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region of the United Sites. Based on-site in Brunk’s Pittsburgh Valley office, this role will focus on strategic customer engagement, sales pipeline development, and active participation in technical discussions related to RFQs and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:

- Conduct sales visits to customer sites and hold regular touchpoints to maintain relationships,

identify leads, and close orders. - Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and targeted prospecting
that is aligned with Brunk’s core capabilities. - Serve as the point of contact for customer relationships, RFQs, technical correspondence, order
status, and delivery coordination. - Maintain and update detailed customer profiles and engagement records on CRM
- Host customer visits at Brunk’s facilities and coordinate with engineering and operations for
technical discussions. - Participate in monthly sales pipeline reviews, weekly quote review meetings and horizontal
operations meetings, and other customer meetings as necessitated. - Develop & execute strategic plans that achieve business development objectives, while aligning
with the company’s overall goals. - Collaborate with the quoting team and technical sales to prepare proposals and support complex
quoting efforts. - Work cross-functionally on projects involving secondary operations with project managers and
engineering teams - Generate visit reports and customer feedback summaries for internal tracking and follow-up.
- Represent Brunk at major trade shows and industry events.
Required Skills:

- Must be able to effectively communicate with clients, partners, & internal teams, both verbally & in writing.
- Ability to inspire & motivate teams, guide them towards achieving goals, & delegate tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated capabilities in identifying & securing new business opportunities
- Strong sales skills & the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems to manage leads, track interactions, & maintain client relationships.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills that are applied towards managing multiple projects, deadlines, & client interactions.
- Work independently, while contributing to a collaborative sales and engineering environment.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, especially precision metal stamping and medical device requirements.
Education/and Experience:
The minimum educational requirements listed below may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in medical device or contract manufacturing
environments. - High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
- Willing and able to travel and attend industry events as needed.
Work Environment/Protective Clothing Required:
This position requires the person:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an area with loud noise and vibration.
- Must wear proper PPE (protective shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) and follow LOTO procedures.
