SWDS Drivers are responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using company vans or pick-up trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug testing.
- Be available to work from 6:00 am until 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Principal Accountabilities:
Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition: check fluid levels and tire pressure; notify the Branch Manager before obtaining or scheduling required repairs.
Maintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and scheduling repairs
Loads delivery truck with product securely, avoiding damage
Delivers items by identifying destinations, establishing a route, operating the truck, unloading items, and maintaining a schedule
Uses a cell phone to report on the progress of deliveries
Picks up return items for the company
Verifies products delivered against the packing slip and has the customer sign the receipt.
Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints
