We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist specializing in Pediatrics to provide top-tier care in a vibrant healthcare setting. Required Skills:

  • Valid Pediatric Board Certification or Eligibility
  • Current medical license to practice in the state
  • Proven experience in inpatient pediatric care
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with neonatal intensive care or subspecialties in pediatrics
  • Familiarity with hospital-based electronic medical records systems
  • Leadership or teaching experience in a clinical setting
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of hospitalist experience in a pediatric setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work a fixed clinic schedule: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Call responsibilities approximately 10 days per month, primarily for newborn care, with a rotating schedule with local providers
  • Availability for weekend call coverage as needed
  • Documentation of all overtime and callback hours on timesheets
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is preferred
