Job Description

HRMC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment within the LPNT West network. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently
  • Position patients accurately and ensure proper use of coils and imaging parameters
  • Screen patients for contraindications and maintain adherence to MRI safety standards
  • Monitor patients during scans and provide clear communication throughout the procedure
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other technologists to support workflow
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update patient records in the EMR system
  • Assist with quality assurance and equipment maintenance as needed
Requirements
  • Active ARRT certification in MRI
  • State licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience
  • Proficiency with MRI equipment and digital imaging systems
  • Strong communication and patient-care skills
