Qualifications- Appropriate Administrator's Certificate as required by the State of Arizona.
- Successful administrative and secondary-level leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated instructional leadership and staff development experience
- IVP fingerprint clearance card through AZ Department of Public Safety
- Technologically Proficient
The High School Principal serves as the instructional and operational leader of the school, responsible for advancing student achievement, developing staff, ensuring safe and effective school operations, and fostering strong community partnerships.
Responsibilities and Requirements INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional programs
- Promote high academic expectations and student growth
- Oversee guidance services, special services (including 504), and extracurricular programs
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Supervise, evaluate, and develop all site personnel
- Recruit, hire, assign, and support professional and support staff
- Maintain a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Recommend personnel actions in accordance with district policy
- Direct daily school operations and ensure a safe learning environment
- Oversee facilities, safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and recordkeeping
- Ensure accurate reporting and official school communications
- Implement district policies related to student discipline, attendance, and conduct
- Foster strong relationships with students and families
- Develop and manage the site budget within approved limits
- Oversee student activity funds and tax credit programs
- Maintain positive relationships with families, community organizations, and feeder schools
- Collaborate with district leadership and participate in administrative meetings
- Support and implement Governing Board and Superintendent directives

- Repetitive motion and eye strain through extensive utilization of computer hardware and software.
- May require lifting materials and supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
