Lead Emergency Services. Drive Clinical Excellence.
We are seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Services (RN) to provide strategic and operational leadership for a hospital Emergency Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ED nursing leader who is passionate about patient care, team development, clinical excellence, and operational performance.
What You’ll Do- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for Emergency Department operations.
- Lead staff engagement, performance management, scheduling, recruitment, development, and conflict resolution.
- Build a culture that promotes professional growth, accountability, collaboration, and exceptional patient care.
- Monitor departmental budgets, contracts, vendors, equipment, supplies, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
- Support evidence-based practices and integrate them into clinical protocols and department operations.
- Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital stakeholders to continuously improve ED performance.
- Oversee student engagement and educational opportunities within the department.
- Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN license with Arizona endorsement.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care certifications.
- Proven Emergency Department nursing experience required.
- Previous Emergency Department leadership/management experience required.
- Monday–Friday day schedule
