Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Lake Jackson, TX for Water & Wastewater Construction Helpers and Foremen.
Helpers will assist with or lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of water and wastewater pipelines, structures, and related facilities. Daily tasks may include site preparation, trenching, pipe laying, concrete work, equipment spotting, cleanup, and adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Water and wastewater facility construction
- Carpentry experience preferred
- Mechanical pipe experience preferred
Foremen will supervise crews, coordinate materials and equipment, monitor work quality, and ensure compliance with safety standards and project timelines. All personnel are expected to follow company safety procedures, use tools and equipment properly, and work collaboratively to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Experience in lift station rehabilitation and lift station construction
- Ability to lead crews and maintain quality and safety standards
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Experience or strong interest in construction, utilities, or civil infrastructure, preferably in water and wastewater projects.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment; willingness to learn proper and safe operation.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn construction plans, measurements, and layout for pipeline and concrete work.
- Commitment to safety practices, including following OSHA and company guidelines and using required personal protective equipment.
- For Foremen: prior leadership experience on construction crews, including planning daily work, supervising team members, and coordinating with supervisors and subcontractors.
- Reliable transportation to the job site in Lake Jackson, TX and ability to work full-time, including overtime as needed based on project schedules.
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a professional, respectful attitude on the job site.
- Prior water/wastewater or heavy civil construction experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the United States required.
