Job SummaryAdjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as-needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.
Job Duties- Reports to the Dean of Business, Technology, and Online Program
- Teaches Healthcare Management classes in the Bachelors of Applied Technology program using traditional and alternative delivery methods
No benefits accrue with this part-time position.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Health Management, Public Health, or Health Education from a regionally accredited college or university
- Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations
- Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
- Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
- Doctorate degree desirable
- Employment experience in healthcare administration
- Evidence of successful teaching experience with non-traditional students
- Experience developing and delivering online courses
