Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College. Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis. Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.

• Reports to the Dean of Business, Technology, and Online Programs.
• Teaches Accounting classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods.

College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with at least 18 graduate credit hours in accounting OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in accounting OR Doctorate in Accounting or significant experience as a practicing accountant.
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution.
• Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met.
