Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.
Responsibilities- Reports to the Director of CBIT
- Teaches professional development, computer, safety or technical classes (based on expertise) using adult learning theory and alternative delivery methods
Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s degree in the teaching subject area from a regionally accredited college or university or a minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in the subject area
- Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
- Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration
