Adjunct
- Licensed Vocational Nursing Instructor (Pool)

Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN)

• Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.

Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.

• Reports to the Coordinator, Licensed Vocational Nursing
• Teaches Vocational Nursing classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods

• College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of non-teaching wage earning experience in the nursing profession
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
• Demonstrated ability in working with culturally diverse populations;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
• Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
