Job Overview
Apollo Men's Health is seeking a Membership & Billing Coordinator to manage patient membership subscriptions, assist with billing operations, and support the administrative team. This role will primarily oversee membership billing through Hint Health while assisting the Billing Manager with insurance verification, claims follow-up, and denial resolution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with billing and EMR systems, and able to assist the front desk when needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities Membership & Subscription Management- Manage patient memberships and recurring billing in Hint Health
- Process new memberships, upgrades, cancellations, and payment updates
- Monitor failed or declined payments and follow up with patients to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate membership records and patient billing information
- Generate membership and revenue reports when requested
- Assist the Billing Manager with billing operations and revenue cycle tasks
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Assist with claims submission and follow-up
- Identify and help resolve denied or rejected claims
- Track payments and help reconcile patient accounts
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims and billing issues
- Send medical records to insurance companies when required for claims or appeals
- Assist with documentation requests related to denied claims or patient billing inquiries
- Ensure patient records are properly documented and stored according to clinic policies
- Assist front desk staff when needed with:
- Patient check-in and check-out
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- General patient assistance
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients regarding billing or membership questions
- Experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, or membership-based clinics
- Familiarity with membership billing platforms such as Hint Health (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance verification, claims submission, and denial management
- Experience working with EMR and billing systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team
