Auto Body Painter​/Prepper

Job Description

As an Auto Body Painter at Leo Martin Chevrolet, you will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, ensuring a high-quality finish. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to match colors and achieve seamless repairs.

• Prepare surfaces, such as metal, plastic, and fiberglass, for painting
• Mix paints to match vehicle colors and specifications
• Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, rollers, or other methods
• Follow established procedures for paint application and drying times
• Inspect finished paint jobs to ensure quality and accuracy
• Make necessary repairs or touch-ups as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Adhere to safety regulations and use protective equipment as required

• Previous experience as an Auto Body Painter or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
• Proficiency in color matching and mixing paints
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
