I&C Engineer III

The I&C Engineer III is a senior-level contributor responsible for leading instrumentation and control engineering activities for gas turbine and power plant projects. This role provides technical leadership, drives design decisions, ensures quality and compliance, and mentors junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
• Lead evaluation and interpretation of customer contract requirements and technical specifications
• Own instrumentation scope, schedules, and deliverables for assigned projects
• Develop and review complex instrumentation specifications, RFQs, and procurement strategies
• Provide technical oversight of vendor selection, bid evaluations, and supplier performance
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of P&IDs, instrument indexes, I/O lists, and loop designs
• Lead development and review of datasheets, drawings, and design documentation
• Drive resolution of technical issues, customer comments, and design conflicts
• Act as primary technical interface with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
• Lead development and continuous improvement of I&C procedures, standards, and best practices
• Support and lead troubleshooting, commissioning, and field issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and regional requirements
• Lead new vendor qualification and evaluation efforts
• Support business development activities including bid reviews and technical proposals
