Senior Vice President, Compliance & Control, AML Officer - Bank Custody Solutions

Position SummaryAML Officer for BNY’s Bank Custody Solutions business and FCC Advisor to BNY Wealth (BNY Mellon N.A.)Works as a senior member of BNY’s FCC Advisory Team that supports Wealth, Broker-Dealers, Markets and Investments related platforms, legal entities, and businesses.

Plays a critical role within the Risk & Regulatory Compliance function and the Compliance & Control job family

Helps ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations

Aligns with BNY’s strategic focus on trust, integrity, accountability, and transparency

Requires a strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements

Primary Responsibilities Develops and implements compliance policies and procedures using extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements

Helps business units address complex regulatory and policy requirements

Leads assigned businesses in developing procedures for current and upcoming requirements

Maintains relationships with regulators and senior business leaders

Monitors and interprets regulatory changes and advises senior management on implications and policy adjustments

Education/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
10–12 years of total work experience preferred

Experience with financial crimes compliance, financial services compliance, assigned products/services/business lines, and relevant laws and regulations preferred
