Maintenance Technician

** We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at a Metals Manufacturer in Lake Mary, FL. With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right.

** Pay Rate- starting $17+/hour, Depending on Experience*
* ** Shift: Mon-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm*

** What's a typical day as Maintenance Technician? You'll be:*
* + Inspecting, repairing, and servicing machinery including lasers, press brakes, punch presses, welding units, and more.

+ Reviewing and updating scheduled preventative maintenance procedures and documents.

+ Maintaining accurate records of maintenance, inspections, repairs, and work orders.

+ Performing routine building and warehouse maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.

+ Inspecting facility areas (e.g., doors, docks, lighting, floors) for maintenance needs or damage.

+ Carrying out basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, drywall, painting, carpentry, hardware, and doors.

+ Maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment like carts, shelving, racks, and work areas.

+ Replacing light bulbs, fixtures, filters, batteries, and other routine maintenance items.

+ Keeping shop, storage, and common areas clean, safe, and organized.

+ Assisting with moving and organizing materials, supplies, and equipment.

+ Maintaining exterior areas and supporting weather-related facility responses.

+ Managing inventory of janitorial and maintenance supplies.

+ Using hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely.

+ Coordinating with outside contractors and service technicians as directed.

+ Supporting production and warehouse operations with facility-related tasks.

** This job might be an outstanding fit if you:*
* + Have a High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

+ Possess prior experience in building maintenance, warehouse maintenance, facilities, construction, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).

+ Can troubleshoot routine building and facility maintenance issues.

+ Have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general mechanical repairs.

+ Are able to read and follow instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety requirements.

+ Can prioritize work orders and respond to facility issues promptly.

+ Demonstrate good organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Are able to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Can communicate maintenance needs and completed work effectively to management.
