Reimbursement Process Specialist (Hybrid)
The Reimbursement Processing Specialist handles reimbursements for all of our Roadside Assistance Programs. The Specialist works closely with respective business lines and the Accounting Department to ensure reimbursements are processed in a timely and accurate manner. This position is primarily responsible for the research and facilitation of reimbursement processing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and process reimbursements received from a wide variety of clients. Review, research, and analyze requests and inquiries to determine the appropriate actions. Drive the response across & between all related parties.
- Respond in a timely fashion to all parties with a clear path forward and a comprehensive plan to resolve the issue. Manage cases to full resolution in a manner that restores customer loyalty.
- Conduct all interactions in a professional, expedient, and helpful manner, utilizing good judgment and decision-making skills.
- Review, process, and document all requests for compensation. Execute requests for reimbursement from third-party affiliates in compliance of AAA contracts.
- Document all pertinent information in the department CRM system to allow for accurate reporting.
- Perform other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued from management as required.
Requirements:
- Uses time effectively; anticipates obstacles, adjusts priorities as needs change, and keeps others informed of progress.
- Possesses or quickly obtains comprehensive knowledge of program-specific details across multiple clients.
- Strong leadership and professional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research, verify, and collaborate with accounting for reimbursement processing.
- Excellent written and oral skills, as well as excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Positive attitude and energy that contribute to a high-performance work environment.
- Proficient knowledge in standard MS Office applications and CRM.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree and one (1) year of related experience; or
- High School Diploma and three (3) years of related experience.
Hiring Range: $21.23 - $25.00
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
