Key Responsibilities- Report to the Cost Control Manager and the Project Controls Manager.
- Participate in the development and continual improvement of project controls systems, recommending enhancements in tools, methods, and processes.
- Establish a project work breakdown structure in line with industry best practices.
- Provide cost codes, purchase order commitments, and change orders to enable accurate accounting and ensure compliance with guidelines.
- Prepare a monthly Total Project Cost Estimate (TPCE) analysis and other required project reports for the County.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and analysis, including running risk simulation programs such as Monte Carlo, to forecast potential problems and recommend remedial actions.
- Assist in creating detailed project budgets and cash flow projections from estimates.
- Collaborate with senior project management staff to manage overall project cost control efforts.
- Work with scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules covering all phases of project execution.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Cost & Commercial Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of cost control experience in the construction field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with diverse project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction cost accounting, including budgeting, commitments, actual cost, remaining cost, potential and approved change orders, and estimate to complete.
- Experience with Expedition/CM13, Procore, Unifier, and eBuilder.
- Previous work experience on hospital or medical projects.
$97,400.00 – $ per year (base salary only; total compensation may vary).
