The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting construction activities by ensuring strict adherence to project controls, documentation standards, and financial processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a basic ability to read construction drawings and feel comfortable reviewing pay applications and change orders, which are essential skills for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Support change order development and ensure accurate, complete documentation.
- Review pay applications and confirm required backup documentation.
- Generate and track purchase orders (POs), change orders (COs), engineering change orders (ECOs), pending change orders (PCOs), time and materials (T&M) summaries, and project releases.
- Ensure adherence to invoicing calendars and project controls.
- Expedite POs and COs to support schedule needs.
- Attend project meetings and prepare brief project updates.
- Basic ability to read construction drawings.
- Experience reviewing pay applications and change orders.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and document-tracking skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- A strong history with approximately 5 years in construction administration is desired.
- Experience processing large amounts of construction data into a consumable form.
- Must have experience interacting and presenting to stakeholders at various levels (clients, management, peers, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), MS Project, and/or other project management software is strongly recommended.
This position is located on-site at a major biotechnology corporation. The role offers a local feel within a progressive consulting firm, now supported by a larger company, providing access to larger projects nationwide. This is a Contract position based out of Lake Oswego, OR.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
