Engineer – Structural

Full‑time exempt professional Engineer. Lake Oswego, OR. PACE Engineers, a Verdantas Company.

• Coordinate multiple projects and work with staff and sub‑consultants.
• Coordinate and manage client requests and needs.
• Apply technical knowledge of structural engineering principles.
• Serve as a technical advisor to other staff.
• Review design and production deliverables ensuring industry standard of care and compliance with PACE standards and policies.
• Provide mentoring to new engineers.
• Support proposal and business development efforts.

• Bachelor of Science – Civil Engineering
• 4 – 9 years of civil engineering experience
• Oregon State PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Washington State PE required or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Oregon/Washington State SE preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Eight or more years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering, Concrete Design, Steel Design

• Industrial structures
• Mechanical/Electrical Support structures
• Building Shells
• Transportation Structure design
• Two years of project management of small projects a plus
• The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory skills
• Demonstrated business development and client management experience
• Team Player

Salary Range: $106,000 – $139,750 (USD)
