About the Role
Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing Commercial Real Estate loans, preparing related reports, overseeing loan portfolio monitoring, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and bank policies.
- Reviews and analyzes Commercial Real Estate loans through the bank’s annual term loan review process.
- Prepares reports regarding the outcome of the analysis performed and approves loan reviews within delegated authority.
- Assists in the administration and analysis of both non-owner occupied and owner occupied loan portfolios managed by Centralized Portfolio Services.
- Performs loan level review functions and periodic follow‑up for risk identification, collateral financial performance verification, risk rating accuracy, covenant compliance and data compilation for stress testing.
- Conducts risk assessment through in‑depth financial analysis, exception tracking, appraisal/environmental review, and monitoring of market conditions.
- Prepares spreads, analyzes financial statements and related information, and uses financial software such as Moodys, nCino, and custom Excel spreadsheets.
- Uses financial statements to review collateral performance trends, borrower/guarantor financial position, credit, and collateral condition.
- Ensures veracity of information in final reports through discussions with borrowers, guarantors, or property managers.
- Prepares formal narrative reports detailing findings based on analysis and outcome of the review.
- Demonstrates compliance with bank regulations for assigned job functions and stays current on regulatory changes.
- Might coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- 4‑7 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate performance analysis and loan structuring or equivalent experience.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, and credit quality expertise.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and bank’s policies and practices.
- Ability to train and present to small and large audiences or interest in learning to train and present.
- Occasional travel required.
Pay range: $72,000 to $110,000, contingent upon job‑related factors. Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
Primary location: 5885 Meadows Road Suite 400, Lake Oswego, OR 97035. Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s).
