Fraud Investigator

Overview

As a Fraud Investigator, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our customers and organization by identifying and investigating potential fraud. This role requires a naturally curious, detail-oriented individual motivated to make a real impact.

• Research data sources and review financial transactions to support fraud investigations.
• Conduct low to high complexity fraud investigations using a mix of automated and manual methods.
• Identify potential fraud risks and elevate concerns following established procedures.
• Support fraud risk management activities, including risk identification, analysis, and monitoring.
• Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and maintain clear documentation of risks and mitigation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required); equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an investment or financial services environment (Required).
• Preferred:
  Experience conducting case investigations.
• Clear and professional communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Strong understanding of financial operations or fraud detection and prevention practices.
• Highly detail-oriented and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, enjoying solving complex problems.
• Familiarity with banking and fraud investigation policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

• Targeted starting salary range: $30.34–$35.69 (based on experience).
