AECO: The Trimble AECO segment provides digital construction solutions that increase precision and productivity for Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations.
What Makes This Role GreatIn this role, you'll be at the forefront of developing automated testing for the Trimble Project Sight Software, directly influencing the reliability of construction collaboration tools and shaping the future of digital job sites. You will have the unique opportunity to evangelize new automation techniques while leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate software release cycles.
Key Exciting Responsibilities- Accelerate with AI:
Actively leverage AI-powered development tools like Git Hub Copilot to enhance code quality and automate routine tasks. - Architect Automation:
Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge automation scripts and frameworks like Selenium to show measurable improvements to released software. - Collaborate Across Disciplines:
Partner with UX and Product Management to define test objectives and ensure project goals are met with precision. - Drive Quality Innovation:
Evaluate and recommend new test automation and performance tools to keep our development process at the industry's edge. - Influence Business Decisions:
Provide critical metrics and results from testing efforts that directly support business decisions related to software quality.
- Technical Foundation:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. - Automation Proficiency:
You have hands-on experience in test automation and scripting using C#, or Java. SQL knowledge is very useful. - SDLC Expertise:
You possess a strong understanding of QA processes within the software development life cycle using agile methodologies. - AI Tool Integration:
You are experienced in leveraging AI-powered development tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, LLMs) to concretely improve your development process. - Modern Testing Skillset:
You are skilled in UI automation, API testing, and cloud/virtualization testing environments.
- Experience with QA-related tools for requirements management and defect tracking like Jira and Zephyr.

Compensation & BenefitsCompensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that Trimble might offer for this position. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to adjust pay and offer additional benefits as appropriate.
Hiring Range: $67,700.00-$93,200.00
