Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $17.00/hr

• Waste Collection and Disposal:
  Collect and dispose of waste from facilities within the park, including restaurants, retail stores, lodging, campgrounds, and public spaces.
• Sort and separate recyclable materials to promote sustainable waste management practices.
• Collect and transport compost, organics, and recyclables from the property to facilities in Klamath Falls.
• Operate and maintain waste collection equipment, such as trash compactors and recycling bins.
• Support employee engagement campaigns to reduce waste sent to the landfill.
• Collaborate with other park staff to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific cleanliness requirements for events or special occasions.
• Provide information and guidance regarding waste disposal and recycling practices within the park.
• Foster a positive and informative interaction with park guests, promoting a sense of environmental responsibility.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.

• This is a seasonal position – full‑time employment during peak visitor season May‑October.
• Work hours may include weekends and holidays as needed.
• The role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions.
