Job Details

Company:
Established manufacturer focused on material handling and related solutions. Position: CNC Programmer. Salary: $35 - $42 per hour, plus monthly bonuses. Monthly bonus structure available.

Hours:

First shift Monday-Thursday 4x10 or Monday-Friday 5x8. Permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts on CNC milling and lathe machines using CAD/CAM software.
  • Set up CNC machines, including tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches.
  • Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
  • Understand specifications of tasks by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other documentation.
  • Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct functions.
  • Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Monitor machine operation and control panel display, adjusting machines to correct errors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven experience with mill operation, lathe operation, and machine programming.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Solid knowledge of CAD software and programming.
  • Strong technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
  • Experience in CNC machine operation, CNC mill, and CNC set‑up.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 2‑year programming degree preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is a plus.
