Pay Range: $21+/hr DOE
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day and Swing Shifts Available

Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed labels and packaging materials that meet customer specifications.
The ideal candidate has experience operating flexographic presses, enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and is committed to producing quality work while maintaining safety and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret job orders, work instructions, and production specifications
- Set up flexographic printing presses for production
- Start and operate printing presses
- Run approval samples and inspect printed materials before full production begins
- Inspect printed product throughout production for quality issues
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Mix inks to achieve proper color matching and viscosity requirements
- Clean printing plates, cylinders, dies, and press components
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Maintain accurate production documentation and communicate production issues to supervisors
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company housekeeping standards
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality control requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of flexographic printing press experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret production documents and work orders
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to accurately read rulers, scales, and precision measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs, with or without mechanical assistance
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks
- Strong manual dexterity for machine setup and adjustments
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required
- Comfortable working around industrial printing equipment and production machinery
