What You'll Do

As a Rewind Operator, you'll play an important role in the finishing process by operating equipment, inspecting finished products, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Receive job assignments and review job specifications for production requirements
  • Select proper cores and rewind methods based on job needs
  • Review job documentation to ensure finishing, packaging, and shipping requirements are met
  • Operate rewind and inspection equipment to process finished label products
  • Monitor material flow through machines to identify cutting, winding, or quality issues
  • Inspect products for accuracy, including color, size, die cuts, perforations, print quality, and quantity
  • Assist with cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging finished products
  • Complete production paperwork and documentation for each job
  • Package finished goods for shipment to customers
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and replace blades as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards

What You Need to Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Printing, packaging, or production experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety procedures, and production documents
  • Ability to use rulers, scales, and measuring devices
  • Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
  • Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs. with or without assistance
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong visual inspection skills, including color and detail recognition
  • Reliable attendance and a strong team-oriented mindset
