Keyholder is a sales eadership position, that helps maintain the high level of customer service we're known for. Employees work in one of our best-in-class stores, while becoming experts in footwear and foot health. You will be able to share your knowledge with customers and staff to provide the best level of service possible.
Jay's is part of ERHCo Inc - an Oregon-based, family-run business that operates retail shoe stores from Eugene to Hood River. We have proudly served the footwear needs of our local communities for more than 40 years.
What We Offer Our Employees- Hourly training rate of $18.00 per hour
- After training, employees convert to commission. This is based on net sales, with no cap on earnings.

- Part-time averaging below 30 hours per week

- Opening and closing duties
- Store merchandising
- Store cleanliness and basic maintenance
- Maintaining a high level of person sales, setting the pace on the sales floor.
- Assisting with staff training and supervision when necessary
- Inventory management
- Processing and reporting sales transactions
- Assist the manager with employee training and development.
- Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently.
- Minimum of one year in fashion retail, required.
- One year of retail supervisory experience, preferred.
- At least two years of work experience involving cash handling, required.
- Available for full day shifts, including weekends.
- An industrious individual who is eager to meet the needs of their team and customer.
- A professional at all times regarding personal and store appearance, as well as team and customer interactions.
- A good communicator with an emphasis on making outstanding first impressions.
- Able to ensure customer satisfaction regardless of the circumstances.
- Able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once.
- A team player first while assisting with leading and managing a team.
- Open to systems and procedures and able to utilize technology efficiently and effectively.
- Interested in learning about the products and procedures that serve our customers best.
- Able to identify and solve problems professionally as they arise.
