Renovation Technician

Mary's Woods has an opening for a Renovation Technician who is committed to providing high-quality work and service. The Renovation Technician is responsible for performing renovation type tasks and general maintenance of our buildings and grounds of Mary’s Woods. As a Renovation Technician at Mary's Woods, you will be contributing to creating a beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy.

You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team.

• Perform maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer’s recommendations and operations manuals
• Perform maintenance repairs such as plumbing and electrical
• Perform interior and exterior repairs to the buildings, grounds, equipment and systems
• Perform maintenance checks of the buildings, grounds, and facilities
• Perform minor carpentry on interior wood products, cabinets, shelving units, laminate flooring
• Move appliances, furniture and other items as needed to assist with the repair and maintenance of apartments and common area spaces
• Participate in on‑call one week on a rotating basis as needed to provide emergency help when required

• Education equivalent to the completion of a high school diploma
• A minimum of two years’ experience in facilities and maintenance
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions while working alone or as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of demolition, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, drywall repairs, installation and repair of flooring, and operating a pressure washer
