Senior Omniverse Engineer; 3D & Simulation

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will build and evolve digital twin and industrial metaverse solutions using advanced 3D simulation technologies within Soft Serve’s NVIDIA Omniverse Center of Excellence. You will contribute to projects from early ideation through production, solving complex industrial challenges while working closely with global experts and NVIDIA technologies.

• Design and develop 3D simulation and digital twin solutions using modern programming languages and graphics frameworks
• Own technical implementation tasks, ensuring performance, scalability, and high-quality delivery across evolving project needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and domain experts in industries such as manufacturing and energy
• Build and optimize 3D applications, focusing on rendering performance, simulation accuracy, and user interaction
• Implement and integrate solutions using game engines or 3D platforms such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar tools
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, contributing to R&D initiatives, prototypes, and proof‑of‑concept solutions
• Present technical outcomes and insights to internal teams and stakeholders, supporting knowledge sharing and alignment

• Advanced experience with Python, C++, or C# in production‑level development
• Strong knowledge of computer graphics, 3D applications, or simulation systems
• Solid background in 3D or game engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or Godot
• Practical understanding of rendering pipelines, 3D performance optimization, and animation fundamentals
• Proven experience working in R&D, prototyping, or fast‑changing engineering environments
• Exposure to NVIDIA Omniverse, OpenUSD, or similar digital twin platforms as a plus
• Exposure to AI/ML, Computer Vision, or Generative AI concepts as an advantage
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with global teams and stakeholders
• Fluent in English at upper‑intermediate level for daily communication
